Our friendly Certified Professional Inspectors are trained to assess every inch of your home. Over a phone or video call, they can: 

  • determine if the problem is minor or something more serious; 
  • provide tips on how to fix the problem yourself or direct you to a professional who can help; and  
  • share home maintenance tips and tricks to keep your home happy.

  • What type of questions can Rümi help address?

    Anything under or on your roof. If we don't have the answer, we know how to find it for you. We handle questions from HVAC and hot water tanks to electrical panels and that mysterious water stain on your ceiling. 

    We can even help you discover where all the lint traps and filters are that need to be changed on your washing machine and dryer.  

  • How does the consult work?

    The choice is yours: video chat or phone. When you’re ready to book, we’ll ask you if you’d like to have our Certified Home Inspector call you on the phone or use our video call service on your smartphone. We’ll send you a link for the video call, and that’s all you need. 

  • What should I prep for my 15 minutes?

    Write out your questions so you don’t forget anything during our call. If you have a video smartphone, you can take us around your home and give us a view of that problem you just can’t describe (just make sure the lighting’s good!) If you only have a couple of questions, we can use the remaining time to take you through some home maintenance tips.

  • What if I don’t remember everything after the call?

    If you use our video call service, we can record the session and send you a copy. That way you can review it when you’re ready to tackle some of those problems in your home. 

  • Can I use my tablet for the video call? 

    Sorry, unfortunately, we can only connect using a smart mobile device.

  • Does Rümi offer home Energy Audits?

    We don’t currently offer Energy Audits at this time, please check back soon!
