Is it better to grind a stump or remove it?
Every stump and its roots are unique. Stump grinding can be less intensive but grinding stumps leaves the roots behind. It is best to discuss the course of action with our tree experts to ensure safe removal and the health of your yard.
Is it okay to leave a tree stump in my yard?
If you leave a tree stump and its roots in the ground, it will decay. It may take a decade or more, but eventually, it'll decay. During that time, it becomes home to several pests, organisms, fungi, and even diseases. Termites are commonly attracted to tree stumps leaving your home and other plants at risk.
What is necessary pre- and post-stump removal?
Just ensure the path to the stump is clear for the arborist and their equipment to access. That’s it! We’ll take care of the rest.
