We offer the following add-ons to this service to offer extra protection and sanitization to your carpeted floors: 

Scotchgard protection: Scotchgard is like an invisible barrier. When spills happen, and they do happen, Scotchgard makes them so much easier to wipe up without lasting damage. 

Sanitizing: Eliminate harmful bacteria lurking in your carpet that can spread illness and aggravate allergies. Request a sanitization treatment. 

Get ready for your carpet cleaning appointment by vacuuming your carpets before we arrive. We’ll move any light furniture, including couches, chairs out of the way, but please remove any breakables on top of furniture, such as vases and stereos. When we’re done, we’ll put your furniture back and place protective tabs under the furniture legs to prevent staining. 

Our technicians can typically move light furniture, but we advise that you move any breakables before we arrive. We won’t move exceptionally large furniture like a piano, waterbed, china cabinet, or that massive sculpture your spouse insists is “art.” 

The cleaning time depends on the amount of carpet area to be cleaned, but you can expect it to take about an hour or so. But don’t forget to account for the drying process, which usually takes about 4–8 hours. Our techs will go over post-cleaning instructions with you, including drying time.  

Our truck-mounted steam cleaning method is one of the only ones recommended by carpet manufacturers. This method involves high-pressure steaming with a water-based solution that is then extractedfrom the carpet — taking all the dirt and grime away with it. 

If you have a warranty on your carpets, you may be required to get them cleaned by a truck-mounted system to keep that warranty valid. When it comes to keeping your carpets clean and fresh, truck-mounted steaming is the way to go. 

Our cleaning products are environmentally friendly and non-toxic to humans, pets and the environment. The solution we use is steamed into your carpet and then extracted, leaving your floor and indoor air safe for everyone. But don’t drink it. It tastes terrible. 

No, you don’t need to be present while we clean your carpets. Please have someone meet our techs to discuss the work and address specific areas requiring special attention like stains, spots, etc. Leave the rest up to us!  

Our cleaning specialists know what they’re doing and can be trusted to work carefully in your home. However, we advise that someone is home when we arrive to address any specific needs or areas requiring special attention like stains, spots, etc. Grab a coffee, catch up on your favorite show or stick around if you like.

We recommend professional cleaning every 6–12 months, depending on the level of soiling and whether children or pets live in your home. If you have asthma, allergies, or other health issues, keeping carpets clean becomes even more critical to your quality of life.

You may walk with bare feet immediately but avoid walking with outdoor shoes until the carpet has completely dried. Pets should not walk on carpets until they are dry. 

It usually takes around 4–8 hours for carpets to dry completely. However, this can vary depending on the type of carpet and the weather. 

In most cases, yes! Our techs use high-powered trucks to give your carpets a deep clean. If you have a window accessible to the parking lot, we're better able to access your unit. We also use portable packs to clean attached units, but these require elevator access to get up to your place. Unsure if we can reach your condo or apartment? Watching a carpet dry is almost as exciting as watching paint dry. If that's not your idea of a good time, we recommend turning on your furnace or circulation fan to help your carpet dry faster.
